This week in review
Earlier this week, Women's Wear Daily wrote about Organic's participation in the 3rd annual symposium at the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham Law, where panelists discussed the Federal Trade Commission's recently updated Green Guides, what it means to be sustainable & ethical and how the fashion industry has a long way to go.
Vogue Australia also highlighted Hannah Bronfman wearing Organic in their March 2013 issue in a wonderful article about Hannah for their monthly SPY feature.
Additionally, Ecouterre posted about an event taking place tonight at GGrippo Art + Design in Brooklyn, where Organic will join other designers and editors to host a conversation about slow fashion. You may find more information about the event courtesy of the Ethical Fashion Academy. Looking forward!
Also this week, fashion blogger Olivia Inkster wrote about Organic's A/W 2013 collection for Style Defined NYC and also a more personal recollection on her own blog Those Kind of Girls. Olivia wrote of the collection, "...This build-up reflected the balance in John Patrick’s latest creations, which seem to represent the quintessential downtown girl but one with a more graduated perspective on herself and the world around her, consciousness of even the clothes she hangs in her closet." We love this reflection, thank you!
